Our core competence is the individual development of spice mixtures with functional ingredients. We know the rapidly changing market environment and all technical possibilities. Based on this knowledge, we co-operate closely with our customers to find ideal product solutions. With R&D centres around the globe, accompanied by the respective food technologists, we are able to transfer knowledge and technology worldwide with the Hela development network. Moreover, we identify new requirements immediately for the benefit of our customers.


Technical assistance

Our team consists of experienced and creative food technologists and helps our customers to develop the ideal product with the fitting taste and the perfect price for the market. To do this, Hela has an annual production capacity of more than 60,000 tons of spices.


Recipe service

All products are provided with specifications including nutritional values and labeling proposals. Our food experts offer advice to our customers in all questions regarding labeling and declaration requirements as well as food laws.


Furthermore, our chemical and microbiological labs can conduct selective analyses required for product development (e.g. measuring salt, moisture, colour, viscosity and microbiological data).
